Yorkshire are to face the 2019 County Championship runners up Merseyside in the first round of the Championship Knockout Trophy on Sunday 1st July. As with most events this year the competition is different to previous years in that the league table format is being changed for a straight knockout.
Due to the amount of teams entering into the competition this year, Yorkshire or Merseyside already know that they will be meeting Wales in the 2nd round of the competition.
