Qualified refereeing/measuring services are available for Associations, Leagues or Major Club finals on payment of a realistic donation toward the Society funds, also provision of light refreshments free of charge to those providing the service.

For those who are interested  Yorkshire Crown Green Referees Society hold Referees Seminars in March and November. Three Seminars are held to assist the candidates.

The Laws of the Game

 

All Referees are trained to uphold the Laws of the Game of Crown green Bowls.

The Laws of the game will be revised as required at the Rules Revision Meeting at Three yearly intervals unless it is seen to be of a serious enough nature in which case an Extraordinary General Meeting will be called.
If any association or Club has cause to dispute any Rule they must put their case in writing via their Association or Club secretary to the Secretary of the Referees Society, who in turn will form a Management meeting to discuss such disputes.
